District Level Science Quiz Competition

Govt. College for Girls, Sector-14, Gurugram, successfully organized a District Level Science Quiz Competition on September 10, 2025. The event was held under the guidance of Principal Dr. Jitendra Malik and was sponsored by the Haryana State Council for Science, Innovation, and Technology (HSCIT).
The event was graced by esteemed Chief Guest Dr. Ashok Diwakar founder academic director, Sewa Sadhna & Gram Vikas Kendra, pattikalyan, Samalkha.He addressed the audience and emphasized the importance of science and technology and its potential for future growth. Thirteen teams from different colleges participated in the written screening test, with the top 8 teams advancing to the oral quiz rounds.The quiz masters, Dr. Mansi Arora (Biotech Dept.) and Dr. Geetanjali (Physics Dept.), conducted four engaging rounds: Main Question Round, Activity Round, Visual Round, and Rapid Fire Round. 1st and 4th Position secured by GCG Sector-14, Gurugram, 2nd and 3rd Position Dronacharya Govt. College, Gurugram,5th Position secured by Govt. College, Sector-9, Gurugram.
The Chief Guest, Principal, and Coordinator Dr. Sushila Srivastava (HOD Physics Dept.) awarded certificates to the winning teams.
The event concluded on a positive note with a vote of thanks. The selected team will proceed to the Zonal Level Science Quiz Competition. The Science Quiz Committee members played a vital role in ensuring the event's success, making it a memorable experience for all participants.
